Ragan Honors Servier’s Kelly Schlemm with Top Women in Communications Award

Servier Vice President, Head of Corporate Affairs, Kelly Schlemm has been named in the Ragan Top Women in Communications Class of 2025. Annually, Ragan Communications honors accomplished industry leaders who set the standard for excellence in communications and drive change in the profession.

Awarded in the “Leaders” category, Kelly has been recognized for her superior leadership during several critical moments for Servier in the U.S and her vital contributions to the growth of the organization as it approaches the 1 billion revenue mark just 6 years after inception.

Among those key moments was Servier’s 2021 acquisition of Agios Oncology, of which Kelly played a key role – leading her team on critical employee engagement and talent retention communications as Servier integrated more than 200 Agios employees in a completely virtual environment.

In 2024, Kelly led the communications team through the monumental FDA approval of vorasidenib, pushing the team to implement cutting edge communications tactics that ultimately yielded impressive results – robust on message media coverage immediately after approval and unprecedented traffic to Servier’s website and brand page.

Professional responsibilities aside, Kelly is a founding member of She is Servier, a program designed to empower women in the workforce. She is also a member of BioBreak, a members-only community intended to foster a stronger regional environment for executives in biopharma, and she spends time mentoring women from all backgrounds to establish themselves for future success.

This recognition by Ragan is a testament not only to Kelly’s exceptional efforts at Servier, but the greater impact her two-decade career as a female leader has made on the industry. Kelly and the 2025 class of honorees will be celebrated at an event in New York City on Wednesday, March 12. Congratulations, Kelly, for this well-earned recognition!
