Justin Cidado

Head of U.S. Research

Justin Cidado is Head of U.S. Research at Servier Pharmaceuticals. In this role, he leads the company’s U.S. based oncology research organization, overseeing target identification and validation, drug discovery, and the advancement of early research programs into translational and clinical development.

Justin is a senior scientific leader with extensive experience in oncology research and drug discovery. Since joining Servier in 2021, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s oncology discovery strategy, leading the cancer biology function and driving the progression of new therapeutic targets into the research portfolio. He has also been instrumental in building and integrating high-performing research teams and strengthening Servier’s scientific capabilities in the U.S.

Prior to joining Servier, Justin held leadership positions at AstraZeneca, where he led preclinical oncology discovery efforts and advanced a portfolio of cancer programs. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Novartis focused on oncology research.

Justin received his Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where his research focused on cancer biology.
