Bart is Head of Finance of Servier Pharmaceuticals. He has extensive experience in consultancy, technology and life sciences industries and worked for leading organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Philips and Nestle in North America and Europe in the capacity of Head of Tax, Senior Director Mergers & Acquisitions and Head of Finance roles. Bart’s track record is one of streamlining business operations, increasing cash flow and unlocking value. Career highlights include the successful reorganization of a complex portfolio of businesses in a rapidly changing healthcare technology enabled services market, a highly successful private debt placement in the U.S. and the maturing and efficiently scaling of commercial businesses. Bart has a passion for organizational health and empowers his agile teams to embrace innovation, challenge the status quo and drive excellent results for all stakeholders by putting patients and customers first.
Bart received his bachelor’s degrees in Civil Law and Tax Law at Leiden University and obtained a post graduate degree in Tax. Bart graduated from Babson College, Olin School of Management with a Master of Business Administration. He also received his CMA certification from the Institute of Management Accounts. Bart has been a panel member at the E&Y Strategic Growth Forum (Entrepreneur of the Year) and is on the Advisory Board of a Boston based start-up.
